On 24 – 26 October 2019 the project partners met in Wroclaw (Poland) for the start-up meeting.
Nadežda Hrapková, the project co-ordinator, explained the programme and the project rules.
Then the planning was set up for the first actions:
– the survey on the use of digital technology among seniors
– the website
– the project flyer
– the newsletter
At a workshop on the topic: ” What are new technologies in seniors´daily life, how to live with them” the partners presented the following items:
– Learning new Technologies at U3A in Wroclaw by seniors ” Easy and Useful” – Zbigniew Błaszczyk, U3A Wroclaw, leader of the SeLiD project Wroclaw, Poland
– From traditional approaches in ICT learning to new methods – the use of tablets and applications in English lessons for older adults – Marian Aleson Carbonell, Paula Doncel, UPUA Alicante, Spain
– “The project group Generation Team Technique about the use of smartphone for beginners” – Roland Schöne, Technical University Chemnitz, Germany
– Discussions on Review Table – “Study about possibilities for elderly students in ICT” – Nadežda Hrapková, Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia
– Brainstorming in practice, project ideas and their realisation –Nadežda Hrapková – project co-ordinator

The last day was spent on an excursion to Ksiaz castle and the coal mine museum of Wałbrzych .
